Mountain Laurel Ultralight Sun Hoodie

I just finished about 15 days on the Camino de Santiago de Invierno, all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, and this hoodie was on my back for every single kilometer of it.
I honestly didn't expect to fall in love with a piece of clothing this quickly. The comfort is exceptional — it feels like wearing almost nothing, yet it does its job perfectly. The fit is just right for long days on the trail, never restrictive, never annoying.
The design is beautiful. I received several compliments along the way, which is not something I'd normally expect from a piece of hiking gear. It looks as good in a pilgrim hostel as it does on a mountain pass.
What truly impressed me though is how fast it dries. Sweat, rain, fog — it didn't matter. A short break and it was dry again. For a multi-day hike with limited luggage, this is a game changer.
The sun protection is real and noticeable. Walking for hours under the Spanish sun with no sunscreen on my arms and zero issues — that says it all.
Sadly, I can't make it to the great American trails where this kind of gear really gets its moment to shine. But honestly? I'm more than happy to keep wearing it here in Europe — next time maybe France, Italy, or wherever my next camino will take me. This hoodie is coming along no matter what.

Very nice. Thinner fabric than my last TownShirt sunshirt that I bought in 2022, but the new fabric is very nice and soft and light. And I love the colors!

This Mountain Laurel town shirt is amazing.I bought this and the red eft shirt.I like the light weight fabric of the Mountain Laurel the best for hot days because it feels more breathable. All in all both shirts are perfect besides the price but I deserve to be bougie too. (:

I love this shirt and the bright pattern. To be the best shirt exactly how I would want it would be to make it a half button down for when it is really hot for ventilation. Nonetheless, I would totally buy the shirt again for up to the mid 60s or low 70s.

This sun hoodie is beautiful and fits very well, but the most impressive characteristic is how incredibly light it is! I love gear and adventure clothes (and spend too much money on both), but I have never found anything as light and breathable as this sun hoodie. I can’t wait to wear it in the hot humid days of summer!

Love the new ultralight edition of the sun hoodie! This is a small detail, but I really like the new way the thumb holes are cut. What keeps me coming back to this brand is the combination of fun patterns and reliable performance. They make some truly unique designs, and people always compliment my hoodies when I wear them out. More importantly, I’ve never burned while wearing one of these. Who knew sun protection could be this fun?

My Townshirts have just arrived in Aotearoa New Zealand and I couldn't be happier! They're exactly what I've been looking for, and so happy I bought two - one of each of the ultralight patterns. The sizing is true, the quality excellent and I just love the look of it. If it ever stops raining here my shirts will see lots of sunny action, and I can't wait to get out on trail at Southern Lakes Ultra (find them on FB and IG) and really put them to the test.
