Casa de Luna Manzanita Forest

where is Casa de Luna Manzanita Forest

Commonly Found

Manzanita trees and shrubs are found throughout the western United States, especially in California’s chaparral landscapes, and notably around Green Valley, where trail angels Terrie and Joe Anderson created the legendary hiker haven, Casa de Luna. Inspired and selected by Terrie and Joe themselves, this print celebrates the manzanita-covered hills surrounding their home, where they generously hosted nearly 20,000 Pacific Crest Trail hikers over two decades. It’s a tribute to the landscape, and the love, that defined Casa de Luna.

Comfortable & Great Design

Comfortable, great PCT design shirt. Had been thinking about getting one for several years. Saw they were about to go away, so I had to grab one. Love the shirt. I am a “PCT Section Looper.” As a “Volunteer Wilderness Ranger” on the same stretch of the PCT for over 20 years, I have logged enough miles on my “loop” that had I started in Campo, I’d be on the PCT in the vicinity of Mt. Jefferson, Oregon. Saw Town Shirt is from Maryland. I am, too, many years ago.
